I live in China and I am a Chinese. Like Twitter, Facebook, Google, and many other things are blocked. VPN is the only option.
I don't find an easy way to connect my PC to VPN easily. Maybe just because a lot of VPN apps on Windows aren't doing well. But many android VPN apps on Google Play Store are pretty good and fast. I want to share this traffic. And with PentestSuite, I find it pretty easy to let my PC connect to VPN.
Here's how I do this.
Open PentestSuite and click on/off switch.
(If currently your phone's 8080 port is used, try some other port)
Turn on your VPN app and start it.
After that, configure your browser's proxy settings, I prefer using firefox, since it can configure proxy settings itself and it will not affect other software on my PC. (You know, it's somehow slower when using VPN)
Here you should make sure the ip address is perfectly match your phone's ip.
Now you should be able to use the traffic provided from your mobile VPN app. 😆
And once there's something wrong in the network traffic, you can always check it out in PentestSuite since it provide the Message list that will show anything about socket data. That means you can know everything about the socket.
